There are lots of ways lavender is used as a defense, including:
- Lavender water, used by agents in small bottles that shatter on impact to ward off ghosts. Sometimes contains acid[1].
- Lavender bundles, usually hung outside or on doors and windows[5].
- Dried lavender sprigs, worn on clothing for everyday protection[1][2].
- Lavender sticks, burned at night to create scented smoke[1]. This is by far the most effective against the Pale Stench[6].
